Pangolin is excited to announce that insurance is now available through Nexus Mutual. Nexus Mutual is a people-powered alternative to insurance and a blockchain based mutual platform.

The Nexus Mutual platform allows users to buy “cover”, or insurance, that protects users against the risks of using smart contracts and DeFi. To purchase cover: users can connect to the Nexus Mutual app, select the product they want to purchase cover for (ex: Pangolin), become a member of the protocol, and purchase cover that will allow users to claim a refund if any funds are lost.

Insurance products like cover from Nexus Mutual are a high priority for certain demographics of investors and DeFi users to feel comfortable using a platform. Pangolin is excited to work with Nexus Mutual to provide insurance for these investors and users.
