What do you do at Pangolin?

I work as a Lead Frontend Engineer. My primary responsibility is to manage the architecture, implementation, code review, deployment, versioning, and scalability of Pangolin on the frontend side. My focus is on how to ship better products and how can we implement a better user experience.

What’s one of your favorite movies right now?

I am a huge movie fan, so there are lots of favorite movies. I love mind-boggling movies like Tenet, Inception, etc.

What did you do before working in crypto?

Before entering into Crypto, I have worked as a Full-stack engineer with many different clients over the course of 7 years. Mostly I have looked into a bit of everything, Backend, Frontend, DBs, architecture etc.

What originally got you into crypto? What were some of your first investments?

I love the idea behind decentralized systems. When I first heard about blockchain it was new to me, after reading about it a bit more I was fascinated by the blockchain technology and how it works then after that I decided to start learning about it step by step gradually. Whereas ETH was my first investment.

What types of projects most excite you in the space (outside of Pangolin, of course)?

L1s, oracles, file-sharing projects excite me the most. I believe there are lots of use cases and ideas which we haven’t discovered yet in the crypto industry which will revolutionize the crypto space.

If you could go back in time and give yourself one piece of advice from the day you started investing in crypto, what would it be?

Start investing early. As soon as you hear about Bitcoin / Ethereum just buy it. ( Given that the universe is not altered by my decision :P

What led to you working at Pangolin?

I have worked with many clients till now. One of the clients is Justin. I have been working with him for many years. I love that guy, he is so cool. One fine day, he reached out to me for Pangolin. At that time, the core team selection process was going on. I did not know about Pangolin at that time. I looked into the product and loved the idea about community DEX and I got very excited about joining him. That’s how my Pangolin journey started.

Which part of our 2022 Roadmap are you most excited for? And why?

The entire roadmap is really exciting. Some of the notable things which will change the way DEX works are Cross-Chain Journey, DaaS ( DEX as a Service ), SAR ( Sunshine and Rainbows ) and of course moving from old UI to V2 UI.
