Pangolin Hedera Airdrop: Registration has started

We’re excited to announce that we will hold a PBAR airdrop for Pangolin token holders and stakers on Avalanche, Songbird, and Flare. Registration starts today, and the airdrop claim will start approximately 7 days from now. Here are the details:

Snapshots were taken on June 20th for:

• PNG Holders / Stakers
• PSB Holders / Stakers
• PFL Holders / Stakers

If you believe your account qualifies, follow these steps to register on Fuji Testnet:

• Ensure you have a Hashpack wallet
• if you don’t, download one here.
• Ensure you have associated PBAR so that you can receive it in your Hashpack — there will be a link to associate it in the registration UI
• Add Avalanche Fuji Testnet to your EVM-compatible wallet here
• You’ll need fAVAX for gas on Fuji. You can get it for free here.
• Register through our UI on Fuji testnet here. We’re using Fuji to ensure registration gas fees are free.
• Make sure you’re connected to Avalanche Fuji (can be found in the “testnet” section of networks)
• Paste in your Hedera Wallet address without checksum
• Click register

How much PBAR is being airdropped?

• .5% of the total supply, equalling 1,150,000 PBAR

Is the airdrop being distributed to all users who have ever staked or held PNG/PSB/PFL?

• No. The airdrop will be distributed only to PNG/PSB/PFL stakers and holders who were holding or staking at the time of the snapshot and who register during the registration window.

Do PNG/PSB/PFL all count the same?

• No, the PBAR distribution is weighted based on the TVL of the chain’s gas token / Pangolin governance token.
• The distribution is 92% to PNG holders/stakers, 6% to PSB, and 2% to PFL.

How do I know if I qualify?

• If on June 20th, you either held or staked PNG, PSB, or PFL, you will qualify. The exact blocks for the snapshots were:
• Flare: Block 9,918,500
• Songbird: Block 37,030,200
• Avalanche: Block 31,565,000

Will I need to claim my PBAR on Hedera?

• Yes. If you register in the time window and you qualify, you will need to return here to claim your PBAR after the registration window.

There’s an outstanding airdrop of PFL. What happened to that?

• Once we implement on-chain governance for Pangolin Flare, we will put up a proposal for the airdrop distribution on Flare for PFL. All SAR NFT stakers will have the ability to vote on it.
